About Dr Theodora Bravi
Hello, I am Dr Theodora Bravi. I have been a clinician for more than twenty-five years. I trained at Guy’s and King’s College Hospitals and spent six years on Harley Street before founding Thames Dental & Skin closer to home – to be near my children, and to build the kind of clinic I had always wanted to work in. Clinically led. Properly considered. With time for the person in front of me.
I treat skin, dental and health as one clinical picture, because in practice they are. Your teeth affect the balance of your face. Your skin reflects what is happening inside. Inflammation in the gut shows in the gums and the complexion, and hormonal change often shows in the mouth first. I trained as a dentist before I trained in facial aesthetics, and the sequence matters – it is from the dental side that I learned how deeply the mouth and the skin are connected, connections most clinicians simply do not see. I write for Premier Magazine on health and aesthetics, teach postgraduate aesthetic dentistry, and mentor younger clinicians.
As a GDC Registered Specialist in Prosthodontics – one of fewer than 300 in the UK – I handle complex restorative and implant work with precision rather than guesswork. Patients come to me for tooth wear, missing teeth, a smile that no longer feels like theirs, skin that has stopped responding, or simply to understand their health while they are well. They come for one thing, and often stay for the rest.
