Is the Facial Reset right for you?

  • Facial volume loss after rapid or GLP-1 weight loss
  • Changes through perimenopause and menopause
  • Post-pregnancy facial change
  • Faces that have always lacked structural definition
  • Previous filler that no longer looks like you
  • Anyone wanting considered, specialist-led work – not over-treatment

What is the Facial Reset Programme?

A medically-led way to restore facial structure when your face no longer reflects who you are.

Not a single treatment, a coordinated clinical pathway, sequenced to work with your biology.

It’s designed for patients whose face has softened through weight loss, hormonal change or previous treatment. Some want structural restoration alone; others go on to the regenerative stages.

Every Facial Reset is delivered personally by Dr Bravi.

Where most clinics treat the face in isolation, she assesses your bite, dental health, hormones and skin together, because they shape the face together.

Why patients choose us?

Some patients are unhappy with previous filler that no longer looks like them. Others simply feel their face has changed through weight loss, menopause or time, and want it restored by a specialist clinician. Both are completely valid reasons to start again.

The Thames Difference

Some patients choose not to reset their facial balance, and that is equally valid. If you do choose to do so, the reset is approached very differently from a standard appointment.

Specialist icon

Expert-led, anatomically mapped.

Before placing anything, Dr Bravi reads the whole face. Bone, proportion, muscle behaviour and the bite, drawn from her years as a dentist before aesthetic.

Aesthetics icon

Minimal product, strategic placement.

Every placement is a matter of millimetres. Product is kept to the least the face needs, placed only where it restores structure.

Root causes icon

Sequenced to respect biology.

Treatments are staged over time, each step working with your biology rather than against it. Not everything at once.

What to expect

You will receive a customized, four-stage written plan focused on structural restoration, skin remodelling, tissue regeneration, and long-term refinement.

  1. 01

    Structural Restoration

Minimal filler, anatomically mapped and placed to rebuild lost framework — never to fill visible hollows. One to two sessions.

  2. 02

    Skin Remodelling

Radiofrequency microneedling triggers collagen remodelling at depth over the following months. Three sessions, four weeks apart.

  3. 03

    Tissue Regeneration

Polynucleotides where skin has thinned, rebuilding density from within. LED therapy supports recovery alongside. Two to three sessions.

  4. 04

    Reviews & Refinement

Structured reviews at 3, 6 and 12 months. Your plan evolves with your face — the trajectory matters more than any single result.

FAQs

Facial balancing is a non-surgical approach that assesses the whole face — rather than one feature — and makes small, precise adjustments to restore proportion and structure. At Thames, it forms the structural restoration stage of the Facial Reset Programme.

The Facial Reset Programme is a sequenced, medically-led clinical pathway to restore facial structure. It combines structural restoration with filler, radiofrequency microneedling and polynucleotides, delivered over four to six months and designed personally by Dr Bravi.

The programme runs over approximately four to six months, with reviews at 3, 6 and 12 months. Some patients begin with the optional 360° Assessment for the full clinical picture; others start directly with structural restoration.

Rapid weight loss — including through GLP-1 medication, fasting, bariatric surgery or illness — reduces the small fat pads that support the cheeks, temples and jawline, often faster than the skin can adapt. As that support drops, the surface of the face follows.

Yes. Skin collagen can fall by as much as 30% in the first five years after menopause, with continued gradual loss afterwards. This thins the skin and softens the lower face, which is one of the most common reasons patients seek a facial reset.

A single filler appointment treats one area in isolation. The Facial Reset Programme reads the whole face and sequences treatments — structural restoration, skin remodelling and tissue regeneration — over months, so the result builds rather than depletes.

A non-surgical facelift usually focuses on tightening. The Facial Reset is broader: it restores lost structure first, then tightens and regenerates the skin in sequence. If your main concern is lost volume and definition rather than laxity alone, the Facial Reset is the more complete approach.

Radiofrequency microneedling delivers controlled heat into the deeper layers of the skin through fine needles, triggering collagen and elastin production over the following weeks and months. In the Facial Reset, it remodels the skin envelope after structural restoration.

Polynucleotides are purified DNA fragments placed where skin has thinned rather than dropped. They support fibroblast function and help rebuild skin density from within, used in the regeneration stage of the programme.

In most cases, yes. Filler placed without anatomical planning can settle in the wrong place or sit on older filler — but this is rarely permanent and can almost always be corrected with patience and a properly sequenced plan.

No. The 360° Assessment is optional. Many patients choose structural restoration or the regenerative stages without it. It’s offered for those who want the full clinical picture — bloods, hormones, skin and dental health reviewed together.

Dr Bravi is a GDC-registered specialist prosthodontist trained at Guy’s Hospital, with over 25 years’ experience and six years on Harley Street. Her dental specialism means she reads the face as a complete system — bone, proportion, muscle and bite — a depth of anatomical understanding most aesthetic-only injectors don’t have.

Yes. We’re based in Thames Ditton and regularly see patients across Surrey looking for facial balancing in Esher, non-surgical facial rejuvenation near Kingston, and structural facial restoration in Surbiton, Walton-on-Thames, Cobham and Weybridge.
