How does a Mono Thread treatment work?
After a detailed consultation, Dr Bravi will map the treatment areas and apply numbing cream for comfort. Fine PDO threads are then inserted just under the skin using a very thin needle or cannula, forming a soft mesh that stimulates collagen over the following weeks.
The treatment usually takes 30–60 minutes. The threads dissolve gradually over 6–9 months, but the new collagen they stimulate continues to support the skin well beyond that.

Most patients find mono threads very tolerable. Numbing cream is applied before the procedure, and the threads are inserted through a very fine needle or cannula – you’ll feel pressure rather than sharp pain.
